King of Computer Models, The EURO Crushes NYC with Snowfall!!!!

I'm telling ya sometimes it's hard to stay awake till so late, but hey! when a winter storm threatens there's no other choice but to stay awake and wait for the King of Weather Computer Models, the EURO to come out. And for us snow weenies it was worth the battle with the Sandman because this is the result

Yes! Yes! That's 20+ inches NYC and north-east. And maybe more

Us snow weenies rejoice and now can go to sleep with images of snowdrifts dancing in our heads!

Blizzard Possible for NYC for the Weekend

Computer models are coming into agreement that a fierce Nor'easter will ride slowly up the East Coast burying sections of the Tri-State region in 1-2 feet of snowfall. There is also the possibility of very strong winds, at times gusting to near hurricane force winds late Friday and all-day Saturday.

Keep an eye on the Nation Weather Service for watches and warnings

Fierce Nor'easter Possible For East Coast

Indications are for a strong Nor'easter to slowly ride up the East Coast dumping feet of snow from New Jersey on northward for the period 1/28-1/30

Very strong winds approaching hurricane force, especially over Long Island are possible. Tidal flooding may be significant

Interesting to see National Weather Service hinting of the same 3-4 days out. Check back for updates
